My intention with my art is to create a colourful story, using expressive painting strokes to make a connection with the viewer, perhaps to something deep within them. I paint primarily alla prima or all at once, painting the sense and feeling of a moment. I like to create work that is whimsical, fun and colourful.
People tell me that my art makes them happy! Just that one thing is good reason to paint!
Recently, two of my bicycle images were used for a permanent public art installation on 2 new bike lockers in the District of Lake Country. -
