Committee Members:

The Lake Country ArtWalk Planning Committee is made up of about 26 volunteers who, under the leadership of Chairperson, Dr. Sharon McCoubrey, work to design each year’s festival. They work to plan the logistical details, to administer all operations, to communicate with the artists and the public, and to manage all aspects of the production of the ArtWalk festival.

Various roles and required skills are matched with specific Committee members to ensure that all tasks are professionally completed. At the same time, all Committee members sit around the table for inclusive contributions to the creative planning that is essential to make each year’s festival unique and exciting, and to problem solve all logistical aspects of such a large event.

As the festival’s date approaches each year, the Lake Country Planning Committee is joined by a host of volunteers from many communities to participate in the various stages of the preparation as well as the actual function during the festival.

A friendly, inclusive working team ensures a friendly, inclusive and high-quality festival.
