In the Garden of our Stories
Installation is a unique form of art that involves creating a sculpture on location, specific to the site. Multimedia Artist, Asana, will create an installation sculpture in the framed circle outside of the Middle School. As the artists explained, “This installation represents how each of us grows and collects our stories through our experiences."
When these stories are shared with one another, they have an opportunity to blossom into ever-new possibilities, learning, and growth for individuals and communities alike. A stack of books provides the foundation for each of the four woodsy limbs of the structure to rise and converge at the center, where a spherical form sits, which contains within it a range of floral and organic elements to express growth at the meeting point of tales told.
