What is the ArtWalk Festival?
The 31st Annual Lake Country ArtWalk will take place on September 7 & 8, 2024, the festival takes place during hours from 10:00 to 5:00 each day, with some special events extending into the evening on Saturday.
For two days every September, the Lake Country Community Complex transforms into a festival of creativity.
ArtWalk attracts over 7000+ attendees and features displays of visual and performing arts from 200+ Okanagan artists, hands-on children's activities, live artist demonstrations, workshops, a live art auction and a delicious menu of food and beverages.
ArtWalk's Mission
Lake Country ArtWalk is a community festival that is produced to meet two specific goals:
1. To support artists
2. To provide meaningful and rich arts experiences for the general public.
Lake Country ArtWalk is a sanctioned community event planned and produced entirely by volunteers.
Please Note
School District 23's policy is that dogs are not allowed on site unless they are certified service dogs.
The policy of ArtWalk is that all conduct and interactions will be respectful.
Lake Country ArtWalk is a vibrant showcase of creativity that offers something for everyone.
Land Acknowledgement
As the Lake Country ArtWalk Planning Committee and the community of volunteers, we would like to acknowledge that we live, work, and create on the ancestral, traditional, and unceded territory of the Syilx (Okanagan) peoples who have lived on and been custodians of this land since time immemorial and continue to do so to the present day. We are grateful for the opportunities and living that are nourished by these lands and respectfully reflect on our responsibilities as we are in relationship to this land and its Indigenous Peoples.
