Kyle, Margaret

I am a Lake Country artist who has exhibited work in the area, since 1995, in such venues as Lake Country ArtWalk, Kelowna and Lake Country District Offices, Lake Country Cafe, and Lake Country Art Gallery where I am also a volunteer. I work from my home-studio to promote art as a health-giving activity. I am inspired by nature and the environment, especially of the Okanagan Valley, but I feel a deep connection to the earth and all of creation. I am in accord with the quote attributed to Chief Seattle, “Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together.” Two things that I pay attention to in my work, in either watercolor or acrylic medium, are color and light.
