Lynette grew up in Victoria, B.C. where she lead an early life of art exposure with supportive influences from her mother and grandmothers in what they always referred to as all important “handiwork”. Lynette graduated from University of Victoria in Psychology/Anthropology/and Art history before travelling to Europe for a year, and then returning to pursue a career in nursing. To help satisfy her itching for stitching, Lynette attended classes at Gibson’s Fibre art Festival while studying with Anita Nairn who specializes in acrylic Intuitive painting. Lynette’s experimental stitch journey began in 2011 at the Gail Harker Centre for Creative Arts in LaConner Washington where she was able to cultivate her passion of the arts full time while living in Kelowna. In the last five years Lynette has participated in exhibits in Whitefish Montana, La Conner Wa, Kelowna and Peachland.
