Live musical performance by Brian Knapp. Bryan earned his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music Education degrees with a major in French Horn and a double minor in Classical Guitar and Piano. Bryan was the Head of Fine Arts and Director of Bands at Killarney Secondary School in Vancouver from 1981 until he retired in 2010.  His bands have performed and competed extensively around the world. His groups have always received the highestawards and honors as a model band program in BC and throughout Canada. He conducted the bands for the Summer Music Institute at the University of British Columbia for 23 years. He has guest lectured at UBC and SFU, given clinics at the BC Music Educators’ Conferences, adjudicated many festivals and directed many provincial Honor Bands.
Since moving to Kelowna in 2012, Bryan has returned to playing the nylon string guitar.  His repertoire includes Spanish, Latin, Mediterranean, and romantic love songs. He is available for all occasions.
